As an homage to the Japanese Shinto philosophy, that teaches that objects too can have a soul, no cuts or punch holes are made in the leather panels. This makes crafting each flogger much harder, time-consuming and ultimately, rewarding.
There is no use of electric tools
Only the length of the bamboo cores and the length of the tails are measured. The dimension of the other parts is variable and is adjusted by the structure of the bamboo and the types of leather.
Every flogger is unique in the same way everything in nature is. Every part is individually crafted and modified to achieve the optimal final result.
